Sunny Ormonde plays the outrageous and wayward Lilian Bellamy in BBC Radio 4's The Archers.
She is a prolific performer who has appeared in theatres throughout the country including those in London, Bristol, Leicester, Ipswich, Clwyd, Salisbury, Coventry, Oldham, Harrogate, Northampton, Chester, Worcester and Wimbledon.
Her leading roles have been many and varied and in recent, favourites include Shirley in Shirley Valentine at Salisbury, Harrogate and Chester and Sally in Rivers Up at The Swan Theatre, Worcester.
Television credits include Brookside, Waiting For God, Why Can't I Go Home?, Jupiter Moon, The Life Of Shakespeare, Hope It Rains and Grange Hill.
Sunny is a seasoned radio actress and has recorded well over 200 plays for the BBC. Her recent work includes Death Of A Secret Wife, The Return Of The Native and A Fine And Private Place.
