Shaun Ley presents The World This Weekend and the Friday edition of The World At One on BBC Radio 4.

 

Shaun Ley joined the BBC in 1990. A graduate of the London School of Economics, he was a trainee on the BBC's regional journalist scheme, based in Bristol.

 

After five years with the regional TV news programme Points West working as a producer, reporter and presenter, he moved to BBC South East in 1995.

 

He presented the weekly political programme Around Westminster and was the region's Political Editor, leading coverage of the first mayoral elections in London.

 

In 2001, he was appointed as a network news Political Correspondent, and has worked across all the main radio and television news programmes.

 

He has been a presenter for People And Politics (BBC World Service), Straight Talk and Head-To-Head (BBC News Channel) and he has presented on BBC World News.

 

For Radio 4, he's presented editions of The World At One, Saturday PM, The Westminster Hour and The World Tonight.
