Jas Rao fronts the Drive Show on the BBC Asian Network, weekdays from 3.00pm.

He joined the station in 2007 working across various shows, including Love Bollywood and The Phone-In, before presenting the Breakfast Show.

Jas was nominated for the Commercial Radio Companies Association Newcomer of the Year Award in 2005, a first for an Asian presenter, and in 2006 won the Outstanding Young Achiever of the Year at the London Gateway Awards.

In 2003 Jas joined Yaar Radio, where he landed his first radio show.

Within months, he progressed to Club Asia where he built his name as one of the station's most popular presenters on the Drive and Breakfast shows.

Jas currently hosts a Music show on Brit Asia TV.
