BBC Worldwide Productions Dancing with the Stars, received 10 61st Primetime Emmy Award nominations - more than any other reality show, it was announced today by the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences. This is the fourth consecutive year that the show has received a nomination for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program.
Additionally, Dancing with the Stars' host and veteran television personality, Tom Bergeron, was nominated in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program category for the second year in a row.
Dancing with the Stars also received nominations in the following categories:

Dancing with the Stars is the U.S. version of the BBC’s international smash hit series, Strictly Come Dancing, where celebrities are paired with professional ballroom dance instructors and compete for a coveted mirror ball trophy. The teams are judged, critiqued and scored by a panel of dance experts - renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman, and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris host. Dancing with the Stars is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions for ABC. Conrad Green serves as executive producer and Rob Wade and Matilda Zoltowski are co-executive producers. Alex Rudzinski is director.
Dancing with the Stars will enter its ninth season on ABC September 21, 2009.
