Animalia, the 3D CGI animation produced by Animalia Productions in association with PorchLight Entertainment, is proving an outstanding worldwide hit.

 

Sold to 19 countries already by distributor BBC Worldwide, the 40 x 24 minute series has so far delighted 6-9 year olds in Spain, France, Norway, Iran, Hong Kong, South Africa and Pan Latin America.

 

Animalia is also enjoying ratings success on PBS and Animania HD network in the USA, Ten Network and Nickelodeon in Australia and CBC in Canada.

 

Based on the internationally best-selling book by Graeme Base, Animalia charts the adventures of human heroes Alex and Zoe as they are swept from their local library into Animalia - a unique world of speaking animals!

 

Currently showing new episodes in the UK on BBC1 weekdays at 15:30 and 17.45 on the CBBC channel, Animalia is outperforming established favourites Scooby Doo, Raven and Horrid Henry in the audience stakes.

 

The DVD Animalia: Where Animals Rule! DVD is currently on sale in Australia and the UK and will be released in the North American education market later this month, and to the retail market in September.

The US version currently receives traffic of over 250,000 every month.
