published by BBC Worldwide are to have their own distinctive BBC
Books logo, starting with all books published from 1st July this
year. The first title to bear the new logo will be Fred Dibnah's
"Age of Steam"; it will appear in the top right-hand corner
of the front cover and on the title page.
Wood, Director, Book Publishing, says: "Our elegant new logo
recognises the fact that we're always being referred to as BBC Books
both in the trade and by consumers. We are proud of our long and
successful history and feel that the new logo puts a fresh spotlight
on that success and reflects our own distinctive brand of quality."
new BBC Books logo was designed in-house at BBC Worldwide by Art
Director Pene Parker.
