They are the descendants of the first Brazilians.

Members of different indigenous groups have been living as squatters on the doorstep of the famous Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

But they're not looking forward to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The stadium's renovation works might put them at risk of eviction.

The derelict building used to house the first museum dedicated to their culture.

Membros de diferentes grupos indígenas têm ocupado sem autorização e morado em um local ao lado do famoso estádio do Maracanã no Rio de Janeiro.

Mas eles não estão ansiosos pela chegada da Copa de 2014 no Brasil. Por causa dos trabalhos de reforma no estádio eles correm o risco de serem despejados.

O prédio abandonado que eles ocupam abrigava o primeiro museu dedicado à cultura indígena no país.
