Shop shop shop until you drop – it’s Xmas time! Spend your money! The pressure is all around us: we are bombarded with ‘special offers’, leaflets, adverts and – demands from our children who want the latest toy, because … they have seen it on telly! Xmas puts a great strain on a family budget, but every year we seem to spend more and more. A third of Britons will go over their budget this Xmas and some will set no budget at all! But - beware – overspending in December means paying off your debts once the New Year arrives.
