(I turn to you - by Mel C)
HUGH: Hello. Today we’re staying with the present tense - This time it’s The Present Simple.
For instance:
‘I write my letters on the computer’,
‘I live in a flat’
‘I cycle to work’.
That’s The Present Simple.
The Present Simple use
One: for permanent situations –
‘I live in a flat’.
Two: for regular events –
‘I cycle to work every day’
Three: for things that happen at any time but are always true.
Every time I write a letter, I use the computer.
