  One hot topic of discussion on The Best Time of The Day Shoe this week was the product of a ‘little white lie’ told by Producer Jade ‘The Unnatural’…well it’s wasn’t so much a lie as a withholding of the truth. Anyway the result was GROW YOUR OWN PINNOCHIO NOSE, where the Dark Lord wanted to know about the ‘Fibs’ you’ve told…turns out there’s a lot of pants on fire out there. ‘Celebrity Endorsements’ were also on Alex’s mind this week, so he asked for people to get in touch with their own ‘non celebrity endorsements’ in PROVE YOUR APPROVAL, which resulted in strokes of advertising “genius” like ‘Hair…the less you cut it, the longer it grows’. In other news The Dark Lord delved into people favourite hiding places in THE HIDE GUIDE and channelled his inner Mystic Meg for IT’S A SIGN.   Whilst flicking through the glossy mags and gossip columns the Dark Lord couldn’t help but notice how so many celebrities are introduced with a FORMER INFORMER, describing something they used to do before their name. But seeing as we already know a lot of these facts already he wanted to know the former informers of his loyal subjects. Alex also delved back into the fashion archives to consider if there were any trends from previous periods that should be given a second chance in RETURN OF THE (RAIN) MAC…could the Elizabethan ‘ruff’ ever make a comeback? And inspired by the Chelsea Flower Show and all the glorious flora and fauna on display this week we started to wonder about whether, beneath their still and silent exterior, there are some flamboyant personalities bursting to get out.
