Chapter Three: 1st comment
"If the objective of a coup d'Čtat is a surprise move to crush the people, I believe that its possibility has always existed and continue to do so. The application of force and military pressure is a dangerous tactic and the prelude to a civil war, which will drag our country to the frightening brink of anarchy, which will endanger regional stability and world peace. I hope that the sentiment of patriotism and the feeling of responsibility among officers of the Iranian army is so great, that they will confront a vision of the future and refrain from resorting to such measures."
