Jai was awarded an Urban Music Talent grant in 2009 to help him with the release of his debut single and tour. Two years on and he is continuing to carve a name for himself in the UK music scene.

Known for his 21st century blend of pop, urban, rock and hip hop, Jai has worked alongside some of the UK’s most well known producers, such as Bless Beats (Wiley), Nutty P (Baby Blue, JD), Show n Prove (Tinchy Stryder), and D-Boy (So Solid) as well as New York hot rapper Joe Budden and the UK's Chipmunk.

He has also had successful international written releases in Japan and India, worked with new Lioness/Universal signing Zalon Thompson, as well as younger brother Heshima Thompson - star of Eastenders E20 - working on music for thesoundtrack and tracks featured in the current series.

With a strong set of credentials, and ongoing support, this fearless young singer from North West London is making major moves as a performing and recording artist. He is now working on his recording and production skills with the aim of establishing a studio and nurturing newtalent.

Kid Kanevil is a hip-hop producer, DJ and journalist from Leeds. He was also awarded an Urban Music Talent grant to develop his career in marketing, studio mastering and business management. He has released his digital album this year.

Kofi Owusu, aka KOF

Kofi is a Liverpool-based rapper and performer who comes strongly recommended by Radio 1Xtra's Ras Kwame, who says that KOF is "definitely one of the top talents and most hard-working urban acts we have here in the UK," and that his success would inspire other regional talent in a London-dominated scene.
