Theatre

We have already supported musical theatre and youth theatre in a number of ways in the past, but in 2013 we're treading the boards full-time and opening up the grants we offer to a wider theatre world. As with our dance grants in 2011 and music grants in 2012, we will be supporting both community music groups and talented individual theatre-makers. This means that you (and we mean you!) could be eligible to apply to us this year.

We are very proud of our musical theatre past. You can find out more about our 2010 Young People's Musical Theatre scheme which saw 52 youth theatre groups receive a grant from us, or catch-up with some of the students we have helped to complete their musical theatre training who now work in West End shows like Mamma Mia!, Wicked and The Lion King.
