Education Bursary

The Fame Academy funded a range of young musicians with an Education Bursary, who have used the support to develop their music careers.

Here you can see some of the winners from the scheme and how they have progressed in the music industry,

Five musicians were awarded £20,000 bursaries in 2007 with several other musicians being given awards to help them commission new music and buy new equipment.

In 2006 the bursaries of £12,500 a year for 3 years (a total of £37,500), were awarded to four young musicians with two more musicians receiving funding of £5,000 to help them commission new music.

The Education Bursary was awarded to five young musicians in 2005 who have all been benefiting from the award.

And for the first time in 2003, the Fame Academy Education Bursary funded five students to the tune of £37,500 for three years while they pursued careers in music.
