What happens next?

Applications have now closed. Decisions will be made by early December, and all successful choirs will be notified by this time.

Projects can start from January 1st 2010 and must be completed by end of September 2010.

Who was the scheme for?
The BBC Performing Arts Fund in association with Making Music launched a funding scheme for choirs and other singing groups.

Choirs made up of 8 or more individual singers, who meet and rehearse towards a live performance, were eligible to apply for funding.
