Megan, aged seven

"I like holding worms because they slither in my hands"

Megan

Life on the farm

Megan

Megan's parents, Rhodri and Gaynor, run a farming business. Gaynor works in the home and office, while Rhodri is in the fields.

Megan has two older siblings, Dafi-Sion and Delana, but although she's the youngest, she's the boss of the household. She takes after Rhodri in her headstrong nature, leadership skills and personality.

Love of the outdoors

Megan

Megan attended a Welsh-speaking nursery and was fluent in English and Welsh by the age of three. She loves the outdoor life, playing on the farm.

Megan has a great deal of freedom - by the age of five she was allowed to walk to the local shop on her own. She also looks after herself in the house and garden while her parents work around her.

She's always loved animals and is fearless around the dogs, sheep, lambs and pigs on the farm.

Megan is fiercely independent and confident. She's a keen reader and goes to Brownies and Urdd, a Welsh youth group. She wants to be an artist or teacher when she grows up.
