We
like Nervous Test Pilot so much we used his music on the first ever
trail for our local music show The Download. That alone would make
him a living legend if only he wasn't one already.

It's
2004 and in a little tent in the middle of a field near Steventon,
Nervous Test pilot's Paul Taylor is smashing to pieces a tiny object
with batteries.
Try
not to imagine it - he'd be disappointed you pandered to the visual
medium that I tried to conjure up.
Paul
is Nervous Test Pilot. I can't show you his picture here because
he wanted us to show his computer in the rain. It's so that nothing
can detract from the music - I think.
Like
I say, I saw him first at Truck but for reasons described in the
interview he was creating a wall of devilish sound. He first really
caught my ear with a track called Hello Daddy on A Catholic Education
CD released by local record label Freedom Road Records.
He's
now working on computer game sound tracks and other euro-pop dance
rave anthems. Visit his website for more details or click the button
above to listen to the madness.
