Claire "Sparky" Scott, 32 from Bicester and Amanda Kemp, 31 from Didcot, who make up half of the "Airkix" skydiving team, set a new World Record whilst taking part in the British Championships held at Target Skysports near Scunthorpe.

The Womens 4 Way team also consist of Emma Hammersley and Julia Foxwell, together with their camera flyer, Andy Wright, and have only recently began jumping together.

At the Championships the team are required to exit the plane from 10500ft, then perform a different sequence of five moves, in order, as many times as possible in 35 seconds before deploying their parachutes. Wright records the jumps for judging purposes. The "Airkix" team completed a world record breaking 30 sequences on one decent.

"Sparky" is no stranger to World titles as she was part of the British team "VMAX" who have won World Skydiving Gold medals on many occasions.

Amanda took part in the British Female Formation Record last year and was a double for Angelina Jolie for the skydiving sequences in the film Tomb Raider. Between them they have nearly 5000 jumps and their team nearly 10000!

The team represent Great Britain in the Skydiving World Cup this October in Arizona.
