Posh
and Becks look-a-likes will be in in Banbury to turn on the town's
Christmas lights. Look-a-likes Matt Middleton and Nerys Jones will
take to the stage at 7.30pm with town mayor Surinder Dhesi switching
on the Christmas lights.

BBC
Oxford's Anne Diamond will be turning on the lights at the
Market Square in Bicester at 7.15pm.

Oxford
Shoppers
in Oxford will be able to see the Christmas lights at the switch-on
ceremony in the city centre.

Woodstock
At
5pm the Woodstock Christmas lights will be turned on by the Town
Mayor, Councillor Pauline Richardson.
The
town square will be candle-lit and there will be a lantern procession
and carols by the Marlborough School Choir. There will be mulled
wine and chestnuts (proceeds to charity); retailers will stay open
until 7.00 pm for an unforgettable shopping by candlelight experience.

November 30th 2004
Abingdon Extravaganza
This year Abingdon takes on a jungle theme. The evening will include
a grand parade, the switching on of the Christmas lights (turned
on by local author Paul Gustafson with the help of Eggbert, the
character from his books), and finally a spectacular Firework display.
The shops will be open late for Christmas shopping.

December 3rd 2004
Thame
Thame
will kick off with an evening of dance, music and fun, after the
lights are switched on.
