TOP TIPS

Start your tree with yourself and add all the realatives. then ask older realative about thier ancestors

Search your family records at the Local Register Office

The church keeps registers that date back to 1537/8 and these can be a valuable resource

The International Genealogical Index is a good resource produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

The census records are avaliable to the public after 100 years meaning you can start looking at records from 1901.
