This
year's Cropredy Festival will be a special event - it's 25
years since the first official festival was held in the village
of Cropredy near Banbury in Oxfordshire.

Cropredy
Festival gathers people from all around the world for one of the
largest folk rock events in the UK. In fact, over 20,000 people
are expected to descend on Cropredy this year.
The
small Oxfordshire village has a population of 680. This often swells
to over 20,000 during the three day festival.
As
the festival site is located beside a river and a canal, many people
arrive by narrowboat and others camp in the surrounding fields.
See for here
for accommodation details and here for pub
details.
Where
do the bands perform?
The
concert field is the main field. The stage is at the bottom of the
field and around the edges of the field are the stalls.
On
the other side are the bar stalls where you can buy real ales served
in the open air.
