MusicYou are in: Oxford > Entertainment > Music > OCM Open Session ![]() Oxford Open OCM Open SessionFind out how to take part in this year’s Oxford Fringe Festival. Since the end of January 2009 Oxford Contemporary Music (OCM) have been taking submissions for a musical box of treats that they plan to open up during this year's Oxford Fringe Festival. The idea for this year’s Open Session evolved from the Oxford Open which was staged at Modern Art Oxford in January 2008. It was an anything goes art exhibition in which artists were given one square metre of exhibition space to do with as they wished. In conjunction with the exhibition OCM held an evening of musical improvisation with different artists in each of the galleries. This year they are looking for Oxford’s finest and most innovative bands and performers to perform at The Northwall in North Oxford as part of the Oxford Fringe Festival. The focus is on original creations and compositions but any genre will be considered. In you fancy getting involved then send your demo, myspace link or mp3s to info@ocmevents.org or for other contact details and the line-up when announced see their website on the top right of this page. The deadline for entry is Friday 6th March. Event: OCM Open Session last updated: 18/02/2009 at 16:24 You are in: Oxford > Entertainment > Music > OCM Open Session This week's show
