Remembrance Day 08

Hear some of the stories of the county's servicemen and women from the last 90 years...

This country has been involved in almost every major war and the people of Oxfordshire have been playing their part. Each conflict has left its indelible mark of the county’s residents and every November we reflect on the sacrifice that has been made by those that have served in the army for their country.

On this page you will find links to the stories of soldiers past and present, contrasting their experiences of war, and finding out what Remembrance Day means to them.
