Steve Williams

The olympic gold-winning rower's medal pedigree.

Steve learned to row at Monckton School in Bath, which he furthered when studying at Oxford Brookes University, with whom he won the World University Rowing Championship.

From 2000-2003, Steve won two gold and two silver medals respectively paving the way for an Olympic call up.

Steve was a member of the men’s fours that won gold at Athens, bringing Matthew Pinsent a fourth straight gold medal.

The only man to remain after the Olympic win Steve went on to win gold at the 2005 and 2006 World Rowing Championships, before coming 4th in 2007. In 2008 Williams raced in the World Cup series finishing 1st, 8th & 2nd.
