Mallett’s Masterpieces

Check out the paintings of the TV legend Timmy Mallett

Timmy Mallett started his showbiz career at BBC Oxford the day after his graduation from Warwick University. He became a cult figure with his “Utterly Brilliant” presenting roles on childrens' TV programmes like ITV’s Wide Awake Club.

A life long Oxford United fan Timmy still lives in the area and has painted many local scenes including the daffodils in the riverside garden of his good friend Rolf Harris.

Rolf and Timmy often exchange ideas, many of which have informed Timmy’s exuberantly colourful English landscapes. You can see a sample of his work in this online gallery or you can visit the Gallery Hadley, High Street, Thame for a full exhibition.
