I was working as a general dogsbody/researcher for a station called Capital FM in Nairobi. 2. What was your first broadcast? Possibly a travel feature or motoring feature on that same station. 3. What other jobs have you done besides broadcasting? I've sold sea grass furniture (badly), waitressed and been a polo groom. 4. What would you like to be if you weren’t a radio presenter? I really wanted to be a showjumper - I rode throughout my childhood and into my twenties. 5. What would listeners be surprised to learn about you? I'm quite shy and am useless at small talk. 6. Which person would you most enjoy being stuck in a lift with? Jason Lee - star of 'My Name Is Earl'. And whoever has decided not to schedule the second series of this show here in the UK. But for VERY different reasons!!! Lifts are soundproof aren't they? 7. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? Spend it?!?!?! 8. What is your worst habit? I'm quite... a bit ...okay ...very untidy. 9. Tell us about your 1st: 10. What is your favourite? last updated: 12/10/07 SEE ALSOYou are in: Oxford > BBC Radio Oxford > Weekdays > Jo Thoenes |
