Louisa Hannan

Weekdays 10:00 - 13:00

1. How did you get into radio?

It's the same old story - I worked for free and eventually it paid off!  When I first started, I was doing mad split shifts for six months, working seven days a week and having a second job at Central TV, so it was a hectic time.

2. What was your first broadcast?

It was on Thames Valley FM presenting the travel news.

3. What other jobs have you done besides broadcasting?

My first ever job was as a perfume assistant in Boots!  I've also worked in the script department at EastEnders and done numerous other jobs including teaching adults computer skills.

"I have a bizarre shoe fetish!"

4. What would you like to be if you weren’t a radio presenter?

I always wanted to be a primary school teacher, but there was a flaw in the plan when I realised I don't really like children... I also have an ambition to become a Private Investigator.

5. What would your listeners be surprised to learn about you?

I have a bizarre shoe fetish!  I have over 400 pairs.  I also appeared in an episode of Holby City!

6. Which person would you most enjoy being stuck in a lift with?

Can I have two?  They'd be Marc Warren who plays Danny Blue in Hustle and Nick Knowles from DIY SOS - he's lovely - and he'd be able to fix the lift.

7. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

Apart from the usual of making sure my friends and family were looked after, I'd buy my own desert island and put lots of shoe shops on it.

8. What is your worst habit?

I've been told I'm very indecisive, but I'm not so sure...

9. Tell us about your 1st:

Car: A blue Ford Fiesta called Barrowman
Job: Boots as a Perfume Assistant
Kiss: I'm only 30.  Should I have had a first kiss by now?
Record/CD: Keith Harris and Orville, I Wish I Could Fly.  I still play it.

10. What is your favourite:

Food: My mum's roast dinner
Sandwich: Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato
Place in Oxfordshire: My bed
Item of clothing: A pair of black thigh-high boots with four inch heels.  I can't walk in them, but they look nice.
Song: That's Life - Frank Sinatra
Singer: Sammy Davies Jnr.
Film: I'd like to say something French and arty but I'd be lying - it's probably Dirty Dancing or some other Chic Flick
T.V Show: Hustle
