Cradley Heath's American Speedway legend Bruce Penhall is possibly the most recognisable face in speedway. Not only was he a world champion but also was the darling of female fans throughout the UK with his boyish good looks. Those looks took him to Hollywood where he has starred in numerous films and TV shows including a prominent role in the motorcycle cop show CHIPS.
