On the 24 June, 2006 The Rocket Man himself will be coming to play at The Kassam Stadium in Oxford. In support will be a little known band from Swansea called The Storys.

The band have only had one album and so to discover what Elton knew but we clearly didn’t, BBC Radio Oxford’s Richard Allinson invited the band up one wet Sunday to perform live on his show.

Apart from the fact that the six musicians had a lot of hair and a dodgy dress-sense he discovered that when Elton John invites a band to support him he’s generally bang on the button!
