Here are his answers to our tough Biography questions:
1. How did you get into radio?
After a short stint in hospital radio, got dragged to the AA to read travel news featuring on this very radio station. On my first bulletin making my mark by mention a place called Bi sester! I learnt quickly.
2. What was your first broadcast?
A short programme on the latest chart music from my mate Ian's bedroom using our "Learn electrics" kits - I was 8!
3. What other jobs have you done besides broadcasting?
Tried my hand at fast food retail. It was the most stressful job I've ever had!
4. What would you like to be if you weren’t a radio presenter?
A pilot. Always loved aeroplanes as my father worked at the airport.
5. What would listeners be surprised to learn about you?
I nearly became a Bio Chemist!
6. Which person would you most enjoy being stuck in a lift with?
Someone to make me laugh, probably Eddie Izzard or Joan Rivers. But preferably a lift engineer!
7. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Build a big house in the countryside. Buy my own café. Own a boat. Travel the world. Buy a car that is useless for anything apart from Sunday afternoons in the sun. Have an apartment in Oxford, New York, Paris and Wellington. Own a race horse. Retire. I've not thought about it really!
8. What is your worst habit?
Picking my belly button fluff.
9. Tell us about your 1st:
Car: MG Metro (it blew up within two months!)
Job: Newsagents
Kiss: It was as much a shock for them, as it was for me… PB!!!
Record/CD: Superheroes, by the Firm!
10. What is your favourite?
Food: Roast lamb, with scrunchy potatoes, mint sauce, broccoli, carrot some cabbage, snips, bit of mash.
Sandwich: Chicken pesto and mayo in a Torpedo!
Place in Oxfordshire: The white horse on a windy day.
Item of Clothing: My Abercrombie and Fitch hoody. Its getting a bit snug now (I refer you to my food answer!)
