Since it's humble beginnings in 1872, the Varsity Match between Oxford and Cambridge has become one of the most celebrated events of the Rugby Union Calendar. Played every year at Twickenham since 1921, the match draws huge crowds to the stadium and is watched by millions all over the world on television. This year's match is the 124th. Following last year's fixture (which resulted in a win for Oxford), Oxford have 52 wins, but Cambridge retain the lead with 57. 14 games have ended in draws.
