As
I arrive at the Head Of The River pub where the boat is docked, I
get the sense this is going to be a good one.
Everyone is looking sexy and fresh and you can tell they are well
up for it.
We board the boat to a soundtrack of funky uplifting sun-drenched
house music that works so well as we set sail down the Thames.
As the time goes on, we are treated to the best in upfront and classic
dancefloor - devastating tunes including local hero Lee Mortimer's
summer smash 'Actions', The Simple anthem that is Groove Armada's
'Superstylin' and the massive reworking of Apache by Switch.
All
aboard.
They send
everyone into a frenzy. At one point the driver of the boat stops
under a flyover so the everyone can cheer to the sounds. The echo
must have been heard in Henley!
Beforel
ong the blurry sights of The Head Of The River comes back into view
and the day is coming to an end...the crowd is jumping, the people
on the banks are waving, the boat is swaying and everyone's going
crackers for one last tune.
As
we walk on to dry land I follow a very merry line of people to the
second instalment of the day...Po Na Na for another six hours of
clubbing in Oxford....Awesome!
