Zoe was one of the original Extend trainees (BBC’s work placement scheme for disabled people) - a web assistant on www.bbc.co.uk/norfolk from 2001. She then worked her way up to producer level on the EastEnders website, before moving to the BBC's campaign for mental wellbeing Headroom in 2008.
