I became a 1st time Mum in June 09 and have recently started to write a blog about the trials and tribulations of being a spinally injured new Mummy to a beautiful able bodied 8 month old baby girl. Challenging yet life changing stuff.

Wondered whether anyone might be interested in reading/following. If so, you can find it at www.mum-on-wheels.blospot.com

    P.S. All feedback very welcome!

    Congrats on your baby girl!
I'm also SCI and just wanted to wish you all the best!
I can't have children due to another illness ontop of my SCI but am about to adopt a puppy instead in a couple of months!

    Hi Rachel

I became a mum for first time in Sep 09 so I'm a few months behind you! I liked reading the blog, all sounds very familiar. I've just got the hnag of using a sling with Sasha, ready to take her out in the Summer!

The playpen you got from Ebay which is the right height for you to play with her - any details about it? I need one as I'm sick of watching Sasha play on the floor when I can't easly get down there to play with her! Hubby lays on the floor with her and I sit in my chair feeling left out.....

Keep writing the blog and I'll keep reading!
