We are the parents of a four year old who, due to contracting meningitis at six weeks old has severe cerebral palsy. Over the last four years we have found out many support items purely by chance and many times, felt like we must be the only parents with a disabled child. Word of mouth has proved to be an excellent form of information, we have therefore set up www.and-me.org.uk... to be a community for parents who are in our position. Please visit, register and help make the site a really useful support network for us all.

Hi, my son is 13 and has cerebral palsy too. Like you I have found one of the most useful sources of info to be other parents (both in person and on the web). Just checking that you know about www.specialiskidsintheuk.org.uk - I have been a member for about 4 years and whilst there are lots of posts that I don;t read (it has about 3000 members!) it is divided into different topic areas so it is easier to find what you need!
Good luck with your site too..
