    Hi all,
I'm a third grade teacher and am currently taking master's courses in early childhood education. One of my classes is a special education class and I have an assignment to ask parents two questions about their feelings regarding the IEP process. If you could help me out by responding to my questions, it would be greatly appreciated!

Were you overwhelmed by the amount of people at your child's initial IEP meeting?

Have you ever called an IEP meeting on your own? What were your reasons for calling it?

Thank you so much for your support! I think that this website is fantastic!

hi ,we live in glasgow and my son has had loads of these meetings since birth,as there were so many people involved in his care they sometimes had 12-15 folk at each one,it was murder to arrange to fit everyones schedules.now my son is in primary 2 and we have 2 of the meetings each year as its so much easier ,there are only 6-8 people at them.i would be more than willing to help you out with any questions you may have.i lecture 2nd year medical students each year as i feel its important to speak out for our kids. kind regards and good luck with your course.
