I've been fighting since jan for DLA. Knocked back, so went to surgery to ask for a copy of their report and was told that no report had been made. Two appeals later (got lower rate of care) and with the pack for the tribunal, guess what, a report from my gp! It stated that I could walk 50 metres and didn't have any problems. BTW my gp hadn't seen me walk at all. Went to tribunal by myself , no rep, and I won!!!! The higher rate of mobility. It took a long time was extremely stressful but, I won. So, no matter what anyone tells you or how down you get, keep fighting. This forum along with many other sites (decision makers guide was VERY helpful) helped me, it's as though a huge weight I didn't know was there has been lifted. Thanks everyone even if you don't realise, you helped me to keep on.
