If you're not a fan don't worry. The show is an American situation comedy about the guy who created the Seinfeld comedy series.

Larry David, who was once a married man living with his actress wife, now separated, is in a cafe listening to his ipod. He hums a tune and a woman recognises it. She asks what he's listening to and the artist is someone she loves as much as Larry. What's more, he tells her that he's been invited to a recital where the artist is actually playing. Normally Larry would't invite a stranger to join him so he suggests they have a date for them to get to know each other. So with the deal struck, Larry & his new date leaves the cafe smiling...pushing her wheelchair. Larry is, well, surprise is one way of putting it. What follows was some of the best, intelligent tv anyone has ever produced.

You've got every prejudice, preconceived idea, and abuse of the concessions we're entitled to displayed for all to see. Laugh? I nearly bust a gut! To cap it all, after dating his newly acquired partner and accepting her offer of coffee...he loses his phone, can't call her back to arrange to collect her for the recital. Drives to the neighbourhood where he thinks she lives, sees a wheelchair user on the pavement, asks her is she knows his date. She doesn't. She's listening to the same artist on her ipod he decides to take her instead. She's a wheelchair user right? At the recital, his friends hosting it, who saw his new girlfriend, is a little bemused when a completely different woman, is accompanying Larry. PURE GOLD. Did you see it?

I tried to like Curb... because it's what all the cool kids watch.

I just couldn't. Not to my taste at all.

I was the same Lisy. I thought it was y'know, okay at best. I have friends who rave about it though.
