What happened to the How Disabled are you quiz?

It was great fun, and available on this website.
Does anyone remember it from a few years ago?
Or perhaps I just can't find it!!!!

(By the way it said "Congratualations, you are definately disabled" at the end, according to your score!)
    Lol smiley - smiley

    ‘How Disabled are you?’

When walking; very disabled. Less so in my wheelchair and PA.

Alone while back is in spasm, very disabled. In spasm with PA present, less so.

With a middle distant journey to make and no car, very disabled. With a PA and car, less so.

Alone on the loo, sometimes, very disabled; with a PA at hand, far less so.

i am curious - is this because you feel less lonely, so the mental anxieties of it all is a bit less, thus the messages are less anxious to the muscles and its less spasmy??

I ask coz when i cuddle my friend in bed for say an hour, my back pain reduces like 90% drugs or not, and i am sure there is something in it

its not just having someone to push or help u up, its having someone full stop!

just curious, i might be totally off and a blip on that annomoly

Rob, it means I get assistance from bed to the loo or shower. Not sure my PAs would appreciate me asking for a cuddle in, or out of, bed!

Not seen this one? I like doing any quizzes for fun really. For me it might say something like can do stuff but a bit wonky? Or to measure the stares that you get when your going along in your wheelchair it would probably indicate that i'm speeding or something like that. People always look really surprised to see someone independently getting out and about in a wheelchair? Like they can't believe that your doing it? I wonder why?

I think I missed this, I think it was back in 2003. But if you search the BBC you can still read the comments made by those who took it.

Its funny, but I have actually been asked by people How Disabled are you? My standard reply is I don't think I am, unfortunately everybody else does...

I looked up all the quizzes in the 'Play' category on this board but the quiz isn't there anymore. I remember taking it, it was very tongue-in-cheek. I was 'quite disabled' I think, or maybe 'not very disabled', I can't remember smiley - erm lol.

I don't need a quiz to tell me how disabled I am. I've read enough of peoples' probs here to realise I'm not nearly as disabled as most of you. I've got all my limbs, in no pain, but can't see and hear well and thats it. So, no I'm not very disabled.

The AB community make me so much more disabled than I really am. Their ignorance is really amazing, especially intelligent people who should presumably know much better.

I wonder if this quiz was considered to be in bad taste.

    Hi all,
    Thanks for the responses,
yes it was very tongue and cheek,
It was only for fun and I did wonder if it offended anyone and thats why it was removed?!
They had it for a couple of years and I wondered if I had become more disabled and what it would say!
Of course I don't need a quiz to tell me but I thought it would be fun.
I liked the comments from one oucher though about if you had so many points and someone else had less how come they get more dla etc. Very good reply.. yes it would open up another debate.

Cheers to everyone smiley - smiley

You're not disabled when you're in your PA?

    Good to know...

(Isn't that sort of behaviour against DP rules? smiley - laugh)
