Need some witty replies...

So, the:
'my mum/dad/friend/aunt/uncle/ has x like you and is happy and working full time, has loads of children and is a fully functional member of society, so why aren't you?' speech.
I'm running low on spoons. And replies and to be honest it upsets me a bit and maybe a witty reply could help combat that.
Seriously (or not so seriously) what's the best reply????
*ponders what to give as a prize to the best answer* -
I'm afraid I can only think or very rude replies for now, Ill have a think!

"Well he/she has clearly got better painkillers than me. I'll have some of whatever s/he's having!"
Yeah. Bit lame. But my brain is rather consumed by the length of my to do list ATM.This is a reply to this message.

Just wouldn't do for everyone to be the same.
That's what I think anyway.

You need tone of voice for this
" oh yes WOW! what a mega star " in a very over effusive voice " Im sooooooo inspired and over whelmed" (pause ) "pity the kriptonite ran out before I got my share isnt it ?"This is a reply to this message.
-
Ooooooooo kriptonite sounds good. Can I get it on prescription do you think?
*goes off to hunt for tone related spoons*
DD that is quite true. This is a reply to this message.

"Wow that is brilliant. Can you please give me the name of their consultant and I'll get my GP to refer me"
Not witty, but practical. This is a reply to this message.

Hi
What about (in a sarky tone) "Gosh that's sooo original, no one has ever said that to me before now, I'm I missing something or am I not a human being"
that should shut them up!!!

My mother/brother/other relative is just as ignorant as you and makes assumptions just as readily, isn't that funny, you must be EXACTLY like them!
No?
Maybe analogies don't work after all!

I'd stick with something simple:
"That's nice for them. How is their experience relevant to my situation?"

“Why don’t you just tear my beating heart from my breast and trample it along with my pride, dignity, hope, aspirations, expectation and future into the ground? After all, what use am I as an unhappy, unproductive and dysfunctional member of society? While you’re at it, why not disown me; brand me as a ‘Cripple’; parade me throughout the town on a tumbrel; finally, leaving me in the poor house to eke out a miserable existence?”
It worked for me; and, even the workhouse has more warmth than that stony-hearted lot.

How about 'if brother/sister/friend/aunt has the same as me then it must be a different type...... called imaginary type? Or miracle type if they can manage to hold down a full time job, kids and active social life?
Or how about 'does friend/ sister/ brother/ aunt/ uncle/ whatever get the same DLA award as i do? If the answer is no then you can say 'well maybe they should be getting it then?' Or if you get the 'they don't need to claim DLA because they are so successful or there mobility or care needs aren't bad enough to claim it' then you can just say, well it can't be that bad then can it?'
Or you could even just say something like ' that's like saying two identical twins should grow up to be exactly the same in every way......... people just aren't exactly the same, every one is different.'This is a reply to this message.
