do people get this, super jumpy

i find every so often i get this, and now is one of them.

eg u pour a drink, and when you have poured it, the bottle makes a noise as it gets is shape back, and all your body fills with fear and anxiety.
a neighbour shuts a door, whatever

i have this now and i dont think it go away till i sleep and wake tomorrow

i have only been awake for about 3 hours after about 16 hour sleep, so its not that i need sleep

i have all my meds as i should, so its not that i missed some or took to many either.

i am still worried about this script problem. been too scared to sort it and just not done anything.

Jesus, the bottle popping! I have had it non~stop for a year or two and litterally jump out seat, even on 600mg Pregabaline and 120mg Propranolol daily.

Yep, noise is louder and I get quick tempered. I can get manic and literally run up and down my flat!

I'm struggling with this at the moment as well. There was a thunderstorm this afternoon and every clap of thunder frightened me half to death. Sometimes I can't even cope with the television or the cat mewing.

I hope you managed to get your smokes and that you feel a bit calmer soon.

It makes me less patient with my three legged cat and she is such a well behaved sweetie too, bless.

i am glad i am not the only one and u guys seem to understand as its obviously a common problem!

its very strange how yes, very quiet noises like a cat meowing etc can set it off too - this is exactly the thing!

I guess i am fortunate i do not suffer it 24/7, it only seems to be every so often, perhaps a coupla times a week, for several hours

and yes, as you describe the temper being much more difficult to control, this is how i find it. Its almost like when someone talks to you, they are repeatidly pressing their index finger over and over into the side of your forehead, and all you want them to do is shutup - not nessacarily go away, just shut up!

its especially hard if this person then is trying to sort your stuff like "you got a letter today, you need to ring so-an-so to do with some direct debit..." and you just wanna SCREAM

Part of my deafness is like that Rob, I repeatedly hear noise`s for hours after I "realy" heard it and the sound can also be louder in the repeated sound and it drives me mad.

Your favorite drug works for me and my noises but they are rationing them to mee too.
