Liberty Festival

Just wanted to ask if you're planning to go to Liberty Festival this Saturday and what you're looking forward to seeing?
The various delights on offer are listed at: www.london.gov.uk/ma...
As Trafalgar Square is such an open space I'm looking forward to seeing the reactions of the tourists, passers-by and people looking down from open top buses just to see what they make of it and hopefully that they'll be part of a lively and really mixed crowd!
And, if you're not coming, what's your excuse!

No ...not going...Live over 300 miles away ...Oh and Im skint !
Im sure you'll keep us all entertained with the odd post or three , gids , after all some of us may live vicariously though the exploits of others...( Well I do when Im skint!)

I can't see how I could sell it to my husband... "Come, help me to attend a festival for people with disabilities..." I mean, I already dragged him to Glastonbury and Womad and they were quite excellent festivals, I don't think he'd be up for anything any less good in terms of entertainment. To be honest it doesn't really appeal to me either. Crowds and noise? Nah.
Instead we will spend Saturday afternoon with friends, celebrating a birthday, and incorporating a tour of Battersea Power Station (free tours every Saturday in August).

Yeah... I went a few times, realised it wasn't all that great, and didn't go for at least two years. But I feel I should give it another go this year - it might have got good. Maybe? This is a reply to this message.

Is Dave Morris still Disability Policy Advisor to the Mayor?
I'm probably going; but, if I see Johnson there, I'll make a sharp exit.

I think we should have some kind of Ouch meet up.
Could be hard to find each other though unless we all wear name badges with our Ouch handle on.

We could do that. Address labels and felt tip pen. And everyone will ask me what my parents were thinking when they named me 'lilwatchergirl'.This is a reply to this message.

I think "Lisy" is either a name or word in Polish.

Can't you claim it back on expenses? Don't tell us lot, though, or we'll all want to become networkers, and claim expenses
