October 2009 - May 2010
The BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chief Conductor Jiří Bělohlávek perform the six symphonies of Bohuslav Martinů. 2009 marks the 50th year since the death of the great Czech composer, whose life began in a church tower in the village of Polička and ended in exile in Switzerland.
