BBC SO learning singing project (c) Simon Jay Price
Total Immersion Days

As part of the BBC Symphony Orchestra's Total Immersion: Three Composer Days, the 2009/10 season will see three exciting learning projects exploring the music of George Crumb, Hans Werner Henze and Wolfgang Rihm.

George Crumb: Saturday 5 December 2009

We would like to invite you to join us to sing in our George Crumb chorus, working with composer Stephen Montague and artist Alex Julyan. The chorus will sing as part of a performance in the Barbican foyers of a brand new work, inspired by the exciting and eclectic sound world of George Crumb.

The Chorus will be performing alongside members of the Fulham Symphony Orchestra, CoMA (Contemporary Music for Amateurs), local sixth form students and dance students from Laban.

Everyone aged 16 and over is welcome to come and take part. The project is free and you don't need to read music to take part.

Dates:
Wednesday 11 November: 7 - 9.30pm (Maida Vale Studios, W9)
Wednesday 18 November: 7 - 9.30pm (Maida Vale)
Wednesday 25 November: 7 - 9.30pm (Maida Vale)
