 Join the BBC SO Student Zone!
Join the BBC Symphony Orchestra Student Zone for £5 tickets* to all 2009/10 BBC SO concerts at the Barbican, open rehearsals at the orchestra's Maida Vale studio home and meet the player events.
To join, let us know your name and where you're studying, and we'll send you regular Student Zone updates with information about all our other student offers. To join, simply email bbcsostudentzone@bbc.co.uk with your university or college email address, place of study and course end date.
*Please note, there is a £2.50 booking fee per transaction
BBC SO Student Zone text alerts
To make sure you don't miss a thing, you can sign up to receive free text alerts from the BBC SO Student Zone. To register, simply text STUDENT to 83111. Texts to 83111 will be charged at your standard message rate.
Once registered, you'll receive a welcome message confirming your subscription to the BBC SO Student Zone.
Please read the Terms and Conditions below before signing up for the service.
1 You will receive a text message to confirm that you have registered for the service.
2 To opt out of the service at any time you need to text the word STOP to 83111. You will receive no further messages.
3 The service is available to customers of O2 (BT Cellnet), Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile (One to One) and Virgin.
4 Registration texts are charged at standard operator rates (no more than 12p). Each message you receive will be free to you. You should receive no more than ten messages per week.
5 Messages sent in reply will be charged at your usual text rate.
6 If you have disabled your caller ID, it must be turned on when you send the registration or opt-out messages.
7 You must seek permission from the person paying the bill before registering for the service.
8 The BBC (and its service providers) will not use your mobile number for any other purpose than running the BBC SO Student Zone text alert service. The BBC complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. For more information on BBC Privacy Policy please refer to http://www.bbc.co.uk/privacy

Your personal information willl be held by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, used only in relation to Student Zone offers and will not be passed to any third party without consent. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter every time to receive it and your details will be automatically removed after your course end date.
