BBC Symphony Orchestra Biography

The orchestra performs an annual season of concerts at the Barbican, many conducted by Chief Conductor Jirí Belohlávek. Recent performances include performances of all six symphonies by Martinů, and the second year of Total Immersion: this year dedicated to the music of George Crumb, Hans Werner Henze and Wolfgang Rhim.
