Working with Youth Orchestras |

 For the past six years we have formed close relationships with several local youth orchestras through coaching sessions, sectional rehearsals and masterclasses.
Over 30 players from the BBC Philharmonic have sat 'within' the youth orchestras and played alongside them.
We are currently working with Cheshire Youth Orchestra. They visited Studio 7 in May 2007 and worked with conductor Andris Nelsons.
In the past students have worked with many contemporary composers and conductors including: Yan Pascal Tortelier, Martyn Brabbins, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, James MacMillan, Rumon Gamba, Jason Lai and performed at the BBC Studios in Manchester, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Bridgewater Hall in public concerts and community events.
