Work Shadowing

We offer exciting and innovative work shadowing programmes for undergraduate/post graduate students.


Orchestral Management
Successful applicants for this scheme will receive a bespoke placement based on their particular area of interest.

Opportunities exist to explore all aspects of orchestral management including concert administration, auditions, marketing, education, recording, tour planning, fixing and library work.

You will be expected to assist with a variety of tasks which can range from general office administration to audition stewarding to observing recordings to education project research.

Applicants for this scheme must be aged 18 +

How to Apply

Applications can be submitted online at the BBC's work experience site. You need to enter the key word 'orchestra' and then select the placement you wish to apply for.
