Play it Again |

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play with a professional orchestra?
On the 15th and 16th June 2007 around 1000 people from Salford and Leeds found out!
They joined the BBC Philharmonic over two days of music making workshop activities which culminated in four performances.
After watching a performance by the BBC Philharmonic, orchestral instrument players joined a choir, percussionists and more unusual instruments (including a human beat box at one event!) to create a super sized orchestra.
With the assistance of creative leader Tim Steiner, they all played a specially composed piece based on the Great Gate of Kiev.
These fantastic events proved very popular and we disovered a whole host of musical talent across the north!
