 Experience the power of live symphonic music with the BBC Philharmonic.
Now in its 13th year, Meet the Phil sessions offer schools and community groups the chance to spend a morning with the BBC Philharmonic as they prepare for a forthcoming concert.
As well as observing the Orchestra in rehearsal you will also have the unique opportunity to talk to players and find out what it is really like to play in a professional orchestra; ask conductors how they prepare a score for performance; find out how a Radio Producer actually makes a programme for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 or talk to the management team who look after all the other aspects of running a busy international symphony orchestra.
Due to massive demand all the following sessions are now fully booked. However keep checking back for details of new events.

Meet the Phil sessions are free and are open to everyone, with each work provoking a variety of discussion topics. Some sessions may be more useful than others. As a rough guide when booking, you may find the following suggestions useful.
SESSION A - GCSE, AS/A2
SESSION B - GCSE, AS/A2, Undergraduate, Postgraduate
SESSION C - Year 6, KS3, GCSE, AS/A2
SESSION D - Year 6, KS3, GCSE, AS/A2

Meet the Phil EXTRA for Primary Schools
